Presented in the EASE-2 (Equal-Area Scalable Earth-2) projection at a 1km resolution, this dataset serves as ancillary data to the sea ice data products in the same projection.\n\ncdm_data_type = Grid\nVARIABLES (all of which use the dimensions [rows][cols]):\nlongitude (degrees_east)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\n https://polarwatch.noaa.gov/erddap/info/nesdis_ease2_latlon_nhem_1k/index.htmlTable https://www.mdpi.com/2072-4292/13/15/2982 (external link) https://polarwatch.noaa.gov/erddap/rss/nesdis_ease2_latlon_nhem_1k.rss https://polarwatch.noaa.gov/erddap/subscriptions/add.html?datasetID=nesdis_ease2_latlon_nhem_1k&showErrors=false&email= Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Studies, University of Wisconsin at Madison nesdis_ease2_latlon_nhem_1k

The output is remapped into 1-km EASE2 grid cells with a nominal resolution of at least 5-km. The NDE cloud mask is used to screen out cloudy VIIRS pixels. When the cloud mask for a data point is determined to be confidently clear, the output concentration in the blended product is 100% VIIRS. Otherwise, the Best Linear Unbiased Estimator equation is used to determine the output concentration (see https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/mathematics/linear-unbiased-estimator#:~:text=Under%20assumptions%20V%20and%20VI,(Gauss%E2%80%93Markov%20theorem for more information on method).\n\ncdm_data_type = Grid\nVARIABLES (all of which use the dimensions [time][cols][rows]):\nIceConc (Sea Ice Concentration, Blended AMSR2 and VIIRS, percent)\n https://polarwatch.noaa.gov/erddap/info/nesdis_blendedsic_shem_daily/index.htmlTable https://www.mdpi.com/2072-4292/13/15/2982 (external link) https://polarwatch.noaa.gov/erddap/rss/nesdis_blendedsic_shem_daily.rss https://polarwatch.noaa.gov/erddap/subscriptions/add.html?datasetID=nesdis_blendedsic_shem_daily&showErrors=false&email= Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Studies, University of Wisconsin at Madison nesdis_blendedsic_shem_daily
