CryoSat-2 freeboards from the ESA standard algorithm were combined with ICESat-2 freeboards to derive LaRA snow depths over the Arctic Ocean. Monthly mean LaRA snow depths covering winter months (November through April) were averaged over five winters spanning 2018-2023 to create 5-year snow depth means for each winter month. CryoSat-2 Baseline-E L1A/L2 and ICESat-2 ATL07/10 release 6 data were used in development.
