ERDDAP is a data server that gives you a simple, consistent way to download data in the format and the spatial and temporal coverage that you want. Use the following links to access the data in ERDDAP.
This dataset is provided by NOAA/NESDIS/STAR in a Polar Stereographic projection. Check out these tips on accessing projected data from our servers.

Laser/Radar Altimeter (LaRA) Arctic Snow Depth (ESA version) is a five-year mean representation of Arctic snow depth on sea ice calculated using complementary observations of Arctic sea ice from laser and radar satellite altimeters. CryoSat-2 freeboards from the ESA standard algorithm were combined with ICESat-2 freeboards to derive LaRA snow depths over the Arctic Ocean. Monthly mean LaRA snow depths covering winter months (November through April) were averaged over five winters spanning 2018-2023 to create 5-year snow depth means for each winter month. CryoSat-2 Baseline-E L1A/L2 and ICESat-2 ATL07/10 release 6 data were used in development. Sea ice concentration data from the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) and sea surface type data from OSI SAF were used as ancillary data.
