The Arctic Sail-Height Product is derived from high-resolution Digital Mapping System (DMS) imagery of sea ice pressure ridges acquired during annual, low-elevation NASA Operation IceBridge airborne surveys over Arctic sea ice. IceBridge observations were acquired between March and May, 2010 - 2018. Statistics for pressure ridge sails are extracted per image, then are further processed into arithmetic averages for 25km along-track segments for each aircraft flight line.
